Baseball Instructor
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic baseball/softball Instructor to join our team, responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students of different ages, a strong background in baseball/softball, and a passion for promoting health, fitness, and skill development. Leading a life for Christ is essential to working in this environment as we teach young athletes about how their Faith can produce strong mindset on and off the field.
Duties
Lead instructional sessions in baseball/softball training.
Develop lesson plans tailored to different skill levels and age groups.
Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper behavior management and supervision.
Foster a positive learning environment.
Provide guidance on technique, form, and safety measures specific to each activity (I.e. hitting, pitching, speed and agility, and weight room training).
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
Maintain equipment and facility cleanliness and safety standards.
Engage with parents or guardians regarding student progress when necessary.
Qualifications
Prior experience as a baseball/softball coach, playing at the collegiate or pro level is a plus.
Experience working with children or students in an educational or recreational setting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage behavior effectively.
Demonstrated ability to lead activities safely while maintaining a fun and inclusive environment.
Passion for teaching physical education and promoting healthy lifestyles through sports and fitness programs. Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
