Machine Operator
We are looking for a focused and dependable Machine Operator to become part of our production team in Andover. In this role, you will oversee the performance of manufacturing equipment, adhere to precise technical blueprints and operational guidelines, and guarantee that all output aligns with our established quality and efficiency benchmarks.
Shift Details
Initial Training Period: Monday through Thursday, 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM
Standard Shift Post-Training: Thursday through Sunday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Core Duties
Manage rubber production equipment to ensure safe and productive output.
Execute tasks based on technical schematics, production manuals, and specific requirements.
Configure, calibrate, and perform necessary adjustments to machinery.
Verify that finished goods satisfy all quality control criteria to support customer satisfaction.
Execute fundamental measurements and numerical calculations.
Spot and communicate any mechanical malfunctions, product flaws, or operational obstacles to help maintain workflow.
Keep the workstation tidy and orderly to promote a safer environment for everyone.
Adhere to all organizational safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself and your colleagues.
Required Skills and Experience
Prior background in manufacturing or operating machinery is a plus.
Capacity to interpret and apply technical diagrams and procedural instructions.
Fundamental proficiency in mathematics and measurement techniques.
High level of precision and the ability to strictly follow directions.
Capability to function effectively both autonomously and within a collaborative group.
Physical Demands
Regularly stand and move around during the duration of your shift.
Occasionally sit, crouch, stoop, or engage in other physical activities as required.
Consistently utilize visual focus to oversee equipment, examine items, and detect potential errors.
Ability to thrive in a high-speed production setting.
