Registered Nurse (RN) | Surgical Intensive Care Unit Location: Billings, MT Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,128 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - MICU and/or SICU experience - Independent and competent ability to work with complex, high-acuity medical and trauma/neuro/surgical ICU patients - Rotating shift availability preferred Description: This position requires significant experience in critical care nursing. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently with high-acuity patients. Flexibility in availability is preferred to meet the needs of patient census. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. Weekend availability may vary according to unit requirements. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with trauma Level I is required, and Level II is preferred. Candidates should be proficient with various critical care skills and procedures. The unit serves a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily patient census varies and an interdisciplinary support team is available. The focus is on comprehensive medical and surgical care, including trauma and neurosurgery patients. Special procedures and equipment are utilized within the unit.
