As an IT Project Management Advisor, supporting the Consumer Driven Health (CDH) Operations Product Line you will be primarily responsible for building strategy, defining requirements and driving execution for implementation of client/vendor projects. This includes managing all aspects of project delivery, roadmap development, research, data analysis, testing and ensuring customer/stakeholder satisfaction.This role will allow you to work with a team of talented IT Project Management Advisors and Sr. Advisors along with others within the CDH Services organization. The CDH Services organization serves at the hub of the integrated accumulator ecosystem between Express Scripts, Cigna, our Health Plan clients, and third party medical benefit providers. Our aim is to be a SME on the product and relevant processes, influence standards/best practices, and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness. The right candidate for this role should be able to solve complex problems, communicate effectively, and utilize technical skills as well as business acumen. The candidate should be self-driven, agile in learning new tools/processes, and be a trusted collaborative advisor throughout the implementation of the project. This role offers a great opportunity to be client/vendor facing and impact the outcomes for our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert content/professional leadership on complex IT Project Management assignments/projectsResponsible for managing, directing and planning several projects simultaneouslyResponsible for coordinating, scheduling and assigning project tasks, team building, and maintaining working relationships with client functional areas outside of ITApply project management methodologies and reporting techniques to indicate project statusIdentify, evaluate and formulate detailed project plan, tracks milestones and schedules; negotiate and modify schedules as well as resources required to meet project objectivesEvaluate and report progress in terms of quality and performance metrics common to IT projectsWork with client departments to coordinate systems testing, installation, training and supportKeep informed of technical and operational advancesExercise considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiativesUse deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leadersFocus on providing thought leadership within IT Project Management including projects which require understanding of the larger organizationRequired Experience / QualificationsHigh school diploma5+ years of experience in data exchange/management or IT project management5+ years of experience in a client/vendor facing roleExperience with JCL, test environment management, execution of load jobs and Mainframe/Rumba/TSOBroad business knowledge of the health care services industryUnderstanding of business metrics and the ability to translate company/departmental goals and objectives into individual performance goalsStrong presentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including training deliveryStrong problem solving skills, including ability to collect, analyze, and offer relevant insights from data for a senior leadership audienceAbility to understand complex needs of stakeholders at all levels of the organization in order to drive solutionsAbility to handle competing priorities and display strong collaboration skills and team workDesired Experience / QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or related disciplineAbility to flex seamlessly between high-level strategic work and detailed execution of complex initiativesInnovative mindset that will challenge the status quoDemonstrate passion around customer focus and improving processes that impact customer satisfactionProven ability to develop strong working relationships and establish a high level of credibility across functional lines of business, IT, and Leadership at all levelsStrategic mindset & enterprise thinkerIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About Evernorth Health ServicesEvernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
