By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures.Conduct root cause analysis for product defects, non-conformances, and customer complaints.Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.Perform internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.Collaborate with manufacturing and design teams to improve product and process quality.Manage supplier quality, including qualification, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools for data analysis and process improvement.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys).Demonstrated experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on data-driven decision making.Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles; certification (e.g., Green Belt) is a plus.Bonus QualificationsSix Sigma Green or Black Belt certificationProficiency with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP)Experience with advanced data analytics tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R)ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)Job Titles That Should ApplyQuality Engineer, QA Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, Lead Quality Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, QC Engineer, Software Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Quality Engineer, Product Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality EngineerWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
