Compliance AssociateThe Compliance Associate is primarily responsible for assisting the Compliance Director with maintaining compliance with all laws and regulations of the healthcare and other respective industries within the organization's continuum of care, as well as professional and safety standards, best practices, and internal standards, while managing risk and ensuring compliance within Mazzoni Center.Key Responsibilities:Compliance Program SupportProvide administrative and operational support to the Compliance Director in the implementation of the organization's Compliance Program.Maintain and organize compliance records, documentation, and regulatory files to ensure accessibility and audit readiness.Assist in preparing documentation and materials for internal reviews, audits, and regulatory inquiries as directed by the Compliance Director. Track follow up items from reviews.Maintain compliance documentation within the organization's document management systems.Support the development and updates of compliance policies, practices, and protocols to align with regulatory requirements and best practices.Assist with scheduling compliance meetings, trainings, and related activities.Conduct research on regulatory requirements or compliance guidance as assigned.Assist the Compliance Director in coordinating compliance education and training activities for staff.Assist with onboarding activities related to compliance training requirements for new employees.Internal Auditing SupportConduct routine internal compliance monitoring activities as assigned by the Compliance Director.Assist with scheduled compliance audits and monitoring activities, including gathering documentation, reviewing data, and preparing preliminary summaries of findings.Document audit observations and escalate potential compliance concerns to the Compliance Director for further review.Assist with follow-up activities related to corrective actions as directed.Participate in Safety Committee meetings and assist with documenting safety-related discussions, action items, and follow-up activities.Participate in and assist with conducting internal OSHA safety inspections of facilities and work areas, documenting observations and escalating potential safety or regulatory concerns to the Compliance Director as appropriate.340B Program Monitoring SupportConduct routine 340B claims checks and data reviews, as assigned to support program compliance.Perform 340B invoice price verification checks and document results for review by the Compliance Director.Assist with regularly scheduled internal 340B compliance reviews, including data validation and documentation collection.Support maintenance of OPAIS registrations, updates, and documentation, escalating discrepancies or concerns to the Compliance Director.Compile documentation and data needed for HRSA, or other regulatory reviews related to the 340B program.Risk Management AdministrationMonitor the organization's incident reporting system, including reviewing submissions for completeness and routing reports to the Compliance Director as appropriate.Administer user access within the incident reporting system, including adding new hires, updating user roles or permissions, and removing access as needed in coordination with the Compliance Director.Maintain documentation related to incident reports and assist with tracking follow-up actions to ensure appropriate documentation and closure of reported incidents.Escalate reported compliance concerns or potential regulatory issues to the Compliance Director for review and direction.Assist in gathering and organizing documentation related to incident reviews, investigations, or corrective actions as requested by the Compliance Director.Monitor grievance reports, maintain related documentation, and track follow-up activities and outcomes to support appropriate documentation and resolution of grievances, escalating concerns, delays, or trends to the Compliance Director as appropriate.Compile and prepare monthly summaries of incident reports and grievances to support reporting to leadership and compliance oversight activities.Assist the Compliance Director in identifying patterns or trends in incident reports and grievances by compiling relevant data and supporting documentation for periodic compliance and risk management reviews.Other ResponsibilitiesDemonstrated ability to embody and needed for compliance reviews and monitoring activities.Participate in compliance meetings or working groups as assigned.Perform other compliance-related duties or special projects as assigned by the Compliance Director.Education, Training, License and Certification, Skills and Experience:Two to four (2–4) years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory administration, auditing support, or a related field preferred.Experience or familiarity with the 340B Drug Pricing Program, strongly preferred.Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information appropriately.Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize, track, and maintain multiple compliance-related tasks and documentation.Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines.Proficiency with standard office and computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems, preferably AthenaHealth or similar platforms.Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or training platforms, preferably HealthStream or similar systems, preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also demonstrating initiative and accountability in assigned tasks.Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop knowledge related to healthcare regulatory compliance.Must be culturally competent to work with groups from diverse racial, religious, ethnic, educational, ability, and socioeconomic backgrounds, as well as members of the LGBTQ and gender non-conforming communitiesClearances:Background checks are required, including Criminal Background Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Clearance.Physical Requirements:The ability to stand, sit and walk for
