Route Manager

OverviewThe Route Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving sales and delivering products to customers along designated routes. This position requires a motivated individual who excels in customer service, possesses strong organizational skills, and is capable of managing inventory effectively. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients while also seeking opportunities for upselling and expanding the customer base. Duties Drive designated routes to deliver products to customers in a timely manner. Manage inventory on the vehicle, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and products are available for sale. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service. Utilize sales techniques to upsell products during customer interactions. Perform heavy lifting as necessary to load and unload products. Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, and customer interactions. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while driving and handling products. Skills Strong math skills for managing transactions and inventory calculations. Excellent organizational abilities to keep track of deliveries and customer needs. Experience or training in commercial driving is preferred. Proven sales experience with the ability to sell effectively and meet targets. Strong communication skills to build rapport with customers and address their inquiries. Ability to perform upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Capability for heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Experience in route driving is advantageous for efficient navigation and delivery.
