This role requires a hands-on, strategic, and people-focused leader capable of delivering a high-end fine dining guest experience while maintaining strong financial, operational, and cultural standards. The General Manager is accountable for driving revenue, managing costs, developing leaders, and ensuring a consistent, high-level guest experience that reflects the standards and identity of each Clive Collective brand.Core Responsibilities:Leadership & CultureUphold and embody Clive Collective’s core mission, values, and service philosophyLead, inspire, mentor and develop management and hourly teamsEstablish a positive, professional, and inclusive workplace culture built on mutual respectDrive clear, direct communication across all levelsSetting clear expectations for all employees and ensuring accountability through consistent coaching and follow-throughGuest Experience & Service StandardsEnsure all guests receive exceptional hospitality and consistent serviceOversee floor presence and table touches, especially during peak periodsDrive menu and service knowledge among all FOH staff to enable genuine, educated guest interactionResolve guest concerns with empathy, urgency and follow-throughMaintain high presentation standards for food, beverages, and facilityIdentify opportunities to elevate the guest experience and improve service flowOperations ManagementOversee daily restaurant operations (FOH, BOH, and Bar)Ensure management adherence to and monitoring of all SOPsMaintain standards for cleanliness, organization, and sanitationEnsure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulationsPartner with Chef/Kitchen leadership to maintain strong BOH-FOH communication & cohesionMonitor and improve operational efficiency across departmentsFinancial ManagementManage and control Labor, COGS, and controllable expenses to meet or exceed financial targetsReview and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial reportCreate and manage schedules to align with business levelsMonitor waste, over-portioning, and inefficienciesIdentify and implement strategies to drive revenue and profitabilityPeople Development & StaffingRecruit, interview, hire, and onboard management and line-level staffEnsure all new hires receive structured and consistent trainingConduct regular performance evaluationsImplement coaching and progressive discipline when necessaryActively coach and mentor Managers and Leads, preparing them for their next leadership role within the company.Systems & ReportingEnsure accurate use of company systems: Toast, Restaurant365, 7Shifts, Tripleseat/Tulen, and othersSubmit reports as required by Operations and OwnershipMaintain accurate documentation of schedules, labor, incidents, maintenance, and inventoryFollow Clive Collective procedures & guidelines for purchasing, invoicing, and approvalsBrand RepresentationServe as an ambassador of the Clive Collective brand in the communitySupport marketing initiatives, events, and partnershipsMaintain professional relationships with vendors, hotel/residential partners, and local contactsRepresent the brand with professionalism both on and off-siteRequired Qualifications3–5+ years of General Manager experience in full-service fine-dining restaurantsProven ability to manage and lead diverse teamsStrong financial acumen and operational knowledgeExperience with POS, scheduling, and reporting systemsExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environmentsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesThis role demands commitment, integrity, and, above all, an undeniable passion for hospitality, food, beverage, and guest engagement.
