Nursing Assistant

Job Summary: At Compassionate Care Facility, we are looking for a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential care and support to patients in our facility. This role involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment, including hospice care, acute care, pediatrics, inpatient, and outpatient settings. The Nursing Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our patients. Responsibilities: - Assist nurses and healthcare staff in providing direct patient care. - Help patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding. - Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. - Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients. - Provide emotional support to patients and their families. - Assist in transporting patients within the facility. - Follow medical protocols and maintain patient confidentiality. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care. - Adhere to medical terminology standards and use eClinicalWorks efficiently. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Skills: - Patient service-oriented with a compassionate approach. - Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures. - Experience in hospice care, acute care, or long-term care settings is a plus. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment such as a teaching hospital. - Proficiency in using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems. - Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
