Production Supervisor
Provide leadership, training and guidance to production personnel on Lines 6, 9 and 25 to ensure that standard operating practices are followed. Enforce company policies and procedures. Prepare required reports and maintenance work orders and maintain accurate production records. Review process problems and develop viable solutions. May supervise maintenance personnel on the back shifts. Ensures compliance to safety and environmental regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervise Line 6, Line 9 and Line 25 production personnel to obtain the most efficient utilization of manpower, equipment and materials while meeting production and quality requirements.
Responsible for employee training and development, discipline, scheduling, and record keeping for payroll and attendance.
Monitors and enforces compliance to all environmental, health, safety and housekeeping standards and completes job safety analyses as required
Investigates production, personnel and equipment related problems and takes appropriate corrective action.
Works with purchasing group to ensure that necessary materials and supplies are on hand for the operation.
Maintains pertinent operational data and prepares production, downtime and yield loss reports. Communicates information as directed.
Performs visual inspection of equipment to ensure safe, efficient and quality operation.
Completes internal audits of work instruction procedures as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional schooling preferred
3 – 5 years experience in production and/or process control with strong technical skills
Basic math skills
Ability to plan, organize and schedule the work of others
Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot situations and make effective decisions under pressure
Observant of safety issues
Able to lead and direct the work of others
Reports defects, issues, and repairs to maintenance department
Collaborate with others and work effectively in a team environment
Proactive, strategic, and detail-oriented approaches with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
Effective verbal and written communication skills throughout facility
Able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences
Understands and follows all processes and procedures related to position
