Customer Application Engineer- Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics
Description:This is an operational role responsible for providing robust deployment and delivery of the SUEZ cloud-based platform, InSight. InSight is an Asset Performance Management (APM) application that combines advanced data and analytics to help water treatment professionals make better business decisions, eliminate unplanned downtime, and lower operating costs.Specific Responsibilities:In this position, you will be responsible for the setup of our APM product for various water treatment applications such as Cooling Towers, Boilers & Wastewater plants.Provide phone technical support to Field Service Representatives, Account Managers and/or Customers daily to facilitate setups or troubleshoot data logging and transmission issues.Follow established procedures for site setup.Deliver InSight demos or provide new user training (as needed).Work in an energetic and collaborative fashion to support existing and new Customers.Facilitate cross-functional coordination with internal and external stakeholders to deliver InSight and other digital service solutions to Customers in a timely manner.Generate ideas for improving the application or delivery process through automation, new tools, or simplification initiatives.Respond to service requests within specified SLAs.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology or Data Science (or equivalent field) from an accredited university or collegeExcellent communication skills - written & verbal communication, facilitation, presentation and collaboration; Proven problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize & organize work, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environmentIndividuals who are driven, confident, and willing to learn; Self-motivated, ability to work independently with minimal guidanceDesired Qualifications:1 - 2 years of IT networking knowledge/ experience1 - 2 years of call center and/or tech support experienceKnowledge of AWS, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle databasesExperience/ familiarity with the Python programming languageWillingness to work early or late shift (7 am - 4 pm or 11 am - 8 pm EST)Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; Consummate Team Player; Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a wide variety of teams and individuals in global locationsKnowledge of water treatment/ processing technologies
