Pay Rate: $19.50/hr

Build and solder circuit cards, wire harnesses, and small mechanical assemblies for an established avionics manufacturer in Oak Creek — first shift, no nights, no weekends.
What you'll do
Hand-solder components onto circuit cards
Build wire harnesses and solder terminations
Assemble small mechanical components and sub-assemblies
Work from engineering drawings, schematics, shop orders, and written work instructions
Use calipers, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and small electrical hand tools
Run an arbor press, drill press, and other equipment for assembly and finishing
What you need
High school diploma or GED
Strong fine motor skills and steady hands — this is close, detailed work
Ability to read and follow written instructions, electronic and mechanical drawings, and schematics
U.S. person status as defined under U.S. export regulations (ITAR requirement for this facility)
Nice to have (not required — we'll train the right person)
IPC-610 solder certification, or two-plus years of hand soldering experience
Avionics, aerospace, or electronics manufacturing background
Experience with SMT, selective or wave solder, or conformal coating equipment
After you're hired
You'll complete a paid in-house solder training program and an English comprehension test required by the facility's FAA Repair Station certification. No prior certification needed to start.
