Physiatrist & Medical Director - Mishawaka, IN Job Type: Full-Time (W2 or 1099) Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Services Provided: Comprehensive rehabilitation medicine, inpatient post-acute care, pain management, and multidisciplinary therapy programs. Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced, board-certified Physiatrist to serve as Medical Director at a leading rehabilitation facility. This full-time position combines clinical care with administrative leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience managing inpatient rehabilitation patients and will provide both direct patient care and oversight of medical staff. Key Responsibilities:* Physician Leadership: Ensure adequate physician coverage, oversee patient care services, and provide ongoing supervision of hospital medical staff. * Clinical Leadership: Guide evidence-based clinical management of rehabilitation patients and oversee the scope of clinical services provided. * Quality Assurance: Establish and participate in quality improvement systems, review clinical appropriateness, support infection control policies, and promote patient safety. * Education & Communication: Foster a learning culture by educating and informing staff, patients, and families.
