Senior Electrical Estimator

Position SummaryThe Senior Electrical Estimator reports to the Team Leader and is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This role evaluates labor, materials, subcontractor, and equipment costs for commercial and industrial projects, including low‑voltage and fire alarm systems.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate Electrical Estimators with technical and project staffing assignmentsPrepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and buyouts for electrical construction projectsReview plans, specifications, drawings, and bid documents to define scope and estimate requirementsPerform quantity takeoffs and develop conceptual, budgetary, and detailed estimatesAnalyze cost risks such as logistics, schedule impacts, weather, and waste disposalParticipate in job walks, bid presentations, and preparation of client qualification submittalsMaintain vendor, subcontractor, and supplier relationships to support competitive pricingCollaborate with management by providing estimates for planning, scheduling, and decision‑makingEnsure accurate data entry, documentation, and timely submission of bidsQualifications & Skills 10+ years estimating electrical commercial construction projects requiredPrograms experience preferred:ProcoreTrimble AccubidBluebeamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as in team environmentAbility to present in a professional manner and represent the company imageWORK ENVIRONMENTWork is performed primarily in an office environment. Office work requires sitting for periods of time and use of a computer keyboard and screen.
