IP Litigation Associate Attorney
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an IP Litigation Associate Attorney to join a nationally recognised Intellectual Property practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated patent litigation matters for leading multinational corporations, innovative start-ups, and technology-focused clients across a range of industries including technology, consumer products, and life sciences. The successful candidate will work alongside a highly regarded team on complex, high-stakes disputes in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Handle patent litigation matters in federal district courtsSupport all stages of litigation, including fact development, discovery, motion practice, expert issues, and trial preparationAssist with ITC (Section 337) investigations and coordinate parallel district court and PTAB proceedingsDraft high-quality briefs, motions, pleadings, and client communicationsWork closely with technical experts and analyse complex technologies to develop persuasive legal argumentsSupport PTAB proceedings, including inter partes reviews (IPRs)Assist with disputes involving SEPs/FRAND and telecommunications or multimedia standards, including cellular, Wi-Fi, and video coding technologiesCollaborate effectively with colleagues and clients on strategic litigation mattersQualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school3–6 years of patent litigation experienceStrong experience with federal district court litigation mattersExperience with or exposure to ITC investigations and PTAB proceedings preferredInterest in or experience with SEPs/FRAND disputes and telecommunications technologies advantageousExcellent analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skillsStrong academic credentialsCollaborative, team-oriented approachAdmission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction requiredBenefits:Competitive salary package ranging from $260,000 – $390,000 depending on experienceOpportunity to work with a nationally recognised Intellectual Property practiceExposure to complex, high-profile litigation mattersCollaborative and supportive working environmentCareer development and progression opportunitiesWork with leading multinational companies and innovative technology clientsComprehensive benefits packageIf you are interested in this position, and you meet the requirements of the role, please click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your resume.
