Job Details:SALARY:$13.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experienceAPPLICATIONS ARE HELD ON FILE FOR 45 DAYS.THIS POSITION IS HIRED IN THE GOLF DIVISION OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Assist Restaurant/Assistant Restaurant Manager/Chef in cooking and preparation of food.Supervise kitchen personnel under the direction of the Restaurant Manager/Chef.Ensure food items are prepared according to standards of quality, consistency and time lines.Receive and fulfill food orders using a restaurant point-of-sale system.Answer questions about cooking methods, menu items and specialsPurchase various food products as directed by Restaurant Manager/Chef, order and receive deliveries, and restock supplies as necessaryMaintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area.Maintain cleanliness of back-of-the-house area.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Must be 18 years of age or olderMust have or be able to obtain a valid Food Handlers Permit.PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING:Criminal background checkDrug and alcohol testing
