Plaintiff-Side Employment Attorney – California (Remote)About the RoleWe are a growing plaintiff-side employment law practice seeking an attorney to join our team and litigate wrongful termination, harassment, and wage and hour claims on behalf of California workers. This is a fully remote position open to candidates located anywhere in California. In-person appearances are rare but may occasionally be required for hearings or other proceedings.ResponsibilitiesManage an assigned caseload from acquisition through settlement or trial, with full ownership of each matterReview incoming leads and evaluate case viability, applying sound legal judgment to intake decisionsInterface directly with clients throughout the life of each case, providing guidance and maintaining strong relationshipsLitigate wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and wage and hour claims in state and federal courtHandle all aspects of case development including pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediation, and negotiationsLead and supervise a dedicated admin team on each file, including case managers and support staff — providing direction, oversight, and day-to-day guidanceMeet performance benchmarks tied to case progression and collected feesQualificationsActive California State Bar membership in good standingPlaintiff-side employment law experience preferred; exceptional self-starters without employment law experience encouraged to applyPreferred - working knowledge of FEHA, Title VII, Labor Code wage and hour provisions, and related California employment lawComfortable supervising and mentoring non-attorney staff in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentAbility to independently manage a caseload with minimal oversightExcellent written and oral communication skillsLocated anywhere in CaliforniaCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $100,000 – $140,000, commensurate with experiencePerformance bonus based on collected feesHealth insuranceMonthly stipend covering phone, internet, and technology expensesFully remote work environmentTo ApplySend your resume and a brief cover letter describing your background and interest in plaintiff-side employment law to [insert email].
