CNC Machining Specialist, Multi-Axis Mills & Lathes

Job Description Step Into the Machine BayIt's a busy morning in Mooresville, NC. You bring a Haas VMC online, verify your offsets, skim the setup sheet, and scan a blueprint one last time before pressing cycle start. As our CNC Machining Specialist, you turn raw stock into precision components that meet exacting client specs—quickly, safely, and repeatably. In our fast-paced, team-centered environment, you'll own quality from setup to inspection and help push our processes forward.What Your Day Looks LikeSet up and run CNC mills (3–4 axis VMC) and CNC lathes (2–4 axis) for consistent, high-quality output.Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to plan cuts, select tooling, and verify tolerances.Tweak programs and adjust G-code or offsets to achieve optimal performance and surface finish.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime.Monitor production, making in-process adjustments to uphold rigorous quality standards.Collaborate with teammates to refine methods, reduce cycle time, and improve throughput.Document production data, note deviations, and escalate discrepancies to leadership.Carry out thorough inspection of parts using gauges and advanced measurement techniques.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area consistent with company practices.What You Bring5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience.Proficiency on both CNC mills and lathes.Strong G-code knowledge and CNC setup expertise.Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and specifications.Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Clear communicator and reliable team collaborator.High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or degree is a plus.Core CompetenciesCNC tooling selection and useG-code understanding and optimizationEfficient machine setup and changeoverAdvanced inspection and gauge measurementRepeatable setups for production runsManual machining fundamentalsEquipment You'll RunCNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC): Haas, DoosanCNC Lathe (2–4 axis): Haas, DoosanReady to elevate your craft and shape components that matter?
