Pay: From $75.00 per hour Job description: Job Posting: Family Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care Clinic Location: Lorain, OH 44053 Position Type: Full-Time Schedule: 40 Hours/Week Travel: Up to 25% Float Coverage Work Setting: In-Person Patient Facing Position Summary Seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide evidence-based primary and family care services in a high-volume outpatient clinical setting in Lorain, Ohio. The provider will work collaboratively with an integrated clinical care team to deliver assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, preventive care, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients across the lifespan. This role is ideal for autonomous NPs with recent primary care, family practice, or urgent care experience who thrive in fast-paced outpatient environments. Important: Candidates without at least 1 year of recent NP primary care, family medicine, or urgent care experience will NOT be considered. Schedule Clinic Hours Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Sunday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Additional Requirements Every other weekend required Possible holiday rotation Occasional float travel within coverage area Individual start date assignment Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care Provide evidence-based primary and family healthcare services Perform comprehensive physical assessments and examinations Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing Develop and manage treatment plans Perform health counseling and patient education Support chronic disease management initiatives Encourage preventive care and wellness participation Clinic Operations Open and close clinic Maintain inventory and clinical supplies Verify insurance and collect payments Complete patient follow-up Maintain clean, safe clinical environment Ensure compliance with safety-sensitive healthcare standards Care Collaboration Coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams Participate in panel-based clinical management Support improved quality outcomes across assigned patient population Preferred Qualifications Retail or outpatient clinic experience Multi-state licensure willingness Population health / quality metrics experience Candidate Questionnaire (MUST BE INCLUDED ON RESUME) Please answer ALL of the following: Do you hold an active NP/PA license in good standing with no prior or current disciplinary actions ?
