This opportunity is designed for established renovation professionals who operate their own business and are interested in consistent, project‐based work.This role is not an employment position . Contractors are engaged per project under a written subcontract agreement with clearly defined scope, pricing, and timelines.Scope of WorkProjects may include all or some of the following:Kitchen renovationsBathroom renovationsDrywall repair, preparation, and paintingCabinet installation and adjustmentCeramic and tile installationFlooring installation (tile, vinyl, laminate, hardwood)Finished carpentry and trim workDemolition, including interior wall removal or relocationBasic plumbing and electrical work within licensing limitsIndependent Contractor RequirementsApplicants must:Operate an independently established renovation or trade businessHold an active New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) registrationCarry Commercial General Liability Insurance (minimum $500,000 per occurrence)Carry Workers' Compensation Insurance or provide a valid exemptionMaintain any required trade‐specific licenses (plumbing/electrical, if applicable)Supply their own tools, equipment, materials, and PPEControl their own work methods, scheduling, and sequencingBe free to accept work from other clientsInvoice for completed work per contract termsIndependent Contractor StatusThis opportunity is offered exclusively to independent contractors .
