Celtic Engineering, Inc., a leading structural and mechanical engineering consulting firm serving the Entertainment, Hospitality, and Aerospace Industries, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III as we grow our team in Windermere, FL. As a Mechanical Engineer III, you’ll lead designs or lead analyses, working closely with the Project Manager and Director to deliver complex projects as well as develop the team supporting you.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and deliver high-fidelity mechanical designs and analyses on schedule
Perform FEA (preferably Ansys) to determine stresses and deformations for strength and performance
Create mechanical designs, and review 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks
Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to align requirements and deliverables
Resolve technical issues through root cause analysis, trade studies, and sound engineering judgment
Lead technical work in design reviews and collaborative sessions
Mentor junior engineers by sharing expertise and setting technical examples
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required), graduate degree highly preferred
10+ years of full-time recent experience in mechanical engineering design and analysis
Demonstrated mechanical design creativity, with strong attention to detail
Proficiency with Ansys (or equivalent FEA tools) or 3D CAD platforms (SolidWorks, Creo) and drawing packages
Solid knowledge of GD&T and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus
US PE license is a strong asset but not mandatory

Pay: $109,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
