Key services lines may include Regional Lab, Regional Therapy, Regional Respiratory Therapy, CXC, Foundation, Medical Staff Office, Regional Pharmacy, Safety & Security, Facilities Maintenance, Transfer Center, Real Estate, Policies.Works in collaboration with campus, regional, and multistate executive leaders to achieve regional performance in identified ambulatory service lines and meet growth objectives.Create strategic collaboration across region, grounded in business analytics, data, and projections in partnership with regional and system market research and planning teams to grow and expand ambulatory services including imaging and lab services.Assesses existing and potential systems, processes and workflows for effectiveness and formulates recommendations for improvement.Develops plans of actions that establish objectives, defines strategies, and outlines in detail the operational actions needed to meet the defined objectives.Responsible for fiscal management, operational initiatives, and quality & safety adherence in all areas of scope of responsibility.Collaborate with market leaders on the planning and opening of new acute care and ambulatory facilities to ensure on time, on budget openings.Demonstrates understanding of budget assumptions and priorities at the Regional and hospital levels and assists in preparing and coordinating the total capital and operational budget based upon corporate guidelines.Assembles data related to the regional activities and provides financial/statistical feedback to the CEO on a monthly basis.Meets identified objectives and established deadlines on a consistent basis.Is an active member of community boards and organizations.Works in collaboration with other executives and directors from multiple service lines to ensure that operations are efficient and functional.Works with directors and executive team leaders to ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and maintain accreditation and certifications as well as achieve new certifications as applicablePromotes collaborative and interdisciplinary processes that focus on safety, best practice outcomes for patients and staff across the continuum of care.Understands and remains current on market trends, competitor activity as well as threats and opportunities. Uses this information to assist in the planning process.Assess existing and new regional services for value creation and opportunity for improvement. Implement in a collaborative manner to improve cost and quality of services.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Understands that patients are customers and providers are business customers. [Required]Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. [Required]Demonstrates strong leadership, communication decision making and organizational skills. [Required]Possesses strong knowledge in patient safety and patient care management principles. [Required]Possesses strong knowledge with regulatory requirements pertaining to health care, Joint Commission, DNV, and CMS. [Required]Advanced level of proficiency in the use of personal computer and all Microsoft office products.
