Senior Applied Python Developer (Full Stack and AI)

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who excels at designing, building, and supporting scalable Python-based solutions while leveraging emerging AI technologies, including agentic workflows and large language models (LLMs).The successful candidate will have deep Python development experience, strong cloud and DevOps skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, maintainable software solutions in a fast-paced environment.Required Experience & Education5+ years of professional software development experience, with a primary focus on Python.1+ years of hands-on experience building, deploying, and supporting AI/LLM-based applications in production.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Required QualificationsStrong Python skills (architecture, APIs, testing, packaging, performance).Experience with AWS, Docker, and cloud-native development.Proficiency in CI/CD, automated testing, and modern development practices.Experience building AI/LLM solutions with LangChain, LangGraph, and MCP.Knowledge of REST APIs, async programming, distributed systems, SQL, and enterprise integrations.Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and RAG is a plus.Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in financial services or capital markets.Knowledge of Kafka/event-driven architectures.Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.React or Angular experience.Java or other enterprise languages.Familiarity with AI infrastructure and vector databases.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Python applications and APIs.Develop AI/LLM solutions using LangChain, LangGraph, and MCP.Build cloud-native applications with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD.Integrate APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.Collaborate with stakeholders and provide production support.Keys to SuccessStrong Python engineering and software design.Ownership from development through production.Adaptability in fast-paced environments.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
