Pay Grade: Specialist 3This position assists the Events area with function setup and teardown for events at any assigned campus as directed.,To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the primary job functions herein described.Facilitates furniture arrangement, and function setup and tear downAssists vendors, caterers, and contractorsTravels among campuses making deliveries and preparing function setup and teardown between buildings and campuses as directedAssists Event Coordinators with hosting events as neededProcesses electronic work order requests and other electronic processesPerforms small repair jobs to college equipment used for EventsAssists in ensuring customer needs are met during events as neededAssists Events Coordinator with processing work orders,Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesBasic computer skills and the ability to learn new processesKnowledge of and skills with use of tools and materials for general building maintenanceAbility to demonstrate excellent customer service skillsAbility to exhibit good interpersonal skills and work well with othersAbility to meet deadlines consistentlyAbility to demonstrates good organizational skillsAbility to perform normal duties with minimal supervisionRequirementsOne year experience in customer service, moving, events, or a related fieldValid Driver's license and clean driving recordMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasksPreferencesExperience in hospitality, catering, or event planningHigh School Diploma or equivalentEssential PersonnelTBD
