This role will own campaign visual concepting, creative direction, and the evolution of our brand system, ensuring consistency and impact across digital, retail, product, and packaging.This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who is both a strong conceptual thinker and a hands-on designer. You will partner closely with brand, product, and digital teams to bring ideas to life and elevate the overall look and feel of the brand.This role will directly manage our Junior Graphic Designer, making people management skills and a collaborative leadership style essential.This role reports to Maggie Rummel, Director of Marketing, and is based in San Francisco with in-office presence 2–3 days per week.What You’ll DoLead visual concept development and creative direction for brand and product campaignsOwn and evolve cocokind’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all channelsTranslate campaign concepts into cohesive creative systems across social, physical & digital retail spaces, paid media, and packagingDirect photoshoots and collaborate with external partners to bring creative concepts to lifeSet the standard for design quality and execution across the organizationPartner cross-functionally to understand business goals and translate them into strong creative outputsEstablish and refine processes that enable efficient, high-quality design executionProvide guidance and feedback to more junior designers and external partnersWho You Are6+ years of experience in graphic design, with experience owning campaigns and brand systemsStrong portfolio demonstrating both conceptual thinking and execution across multiple channelsExperience leading creative direction for campaigns, including photoshoots and multi-channel rolloutsDeep understanding of design principles, typography, layout, product renderings, and visual storytellingProficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Asana, and related design toolsExperience directly managing or mentoring junior designers, with a genuine interest in developing others and building a strong creative team cultureComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting prioritiesStrong collaborator who communicates clearly and works effectively across teamsHighly organized and able to manage multiple projects from concept through executionThoughtful, curious, and open to feedback, with a growth mindsetWhat’s in it for youCompetitive Salary (DOE)Performance-based bonusUnlimited flexible time-off policy$500 home office set-up stipendFull healthcare, vision, and dental planHealthcare and dependent care FSAEmployee life insurance401K plan$10,000 Lifetime Fertility & Family Building Program$50/month wellness budget$75/month remote work budgetEmployee + Family and friends discountWhy cocokindAt cocokind, we do things differently, and we do them with heart.
