Regional Vice President of Operations (Cincinnati)

We are seeking a Regional Vice President to lead and scale operations across our client's Midwest region, overseeing a diverse portfolio of wastewater treatment, environmental services, and industrial operations. This leader will drive financial performance, strengthen execution across multiple sites, and play a key role in integrating newly acquired businesses.Our client is a rapidly growing environmental services organization with a strong Midwest foundation and an active acquisition strategy. You will work closely with senior leadership and commercial teams to translate customer needs into scalable operational solutions across a complex, multi-site network.This is an ideal role for a hands-on, multi-site operator who thrives in evolving environments and is motivated by building, optimizing, and scaling regional performance.Essential Job Functions:Lead a multi-site network of treatment and service facilities, ensuring consistent performance across wastewater, waste handling, and industrial operationsOwn full P&L performance for the region, driving margin improvement, cost control, and strong plant-level economicsTranslate complex customer requirements and waste streams into safe, compliant, and executable operating solutionsPartner with commercial leadership to evaluate new business opportunities and ensure operational readiness and alignmentLead, develop, and hold accountable a team of General Managers across multiple sitesDrive standardization and continuous improvement across facilities, balancing best practices with site-specific requirementsSupport integration of newly acquired operations, accelerating performance and aligning systems and processesEnsure strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards, with a focus on process safety and risk mitigationMaintain strong field presence across the region to drive execution, visibility, and team alignmentQualifications include:Bachelor's degree required; ideally in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience within industrial, environmental, chemical, or related processing environmentsDemonstrated success leading multiple facilities or business units simultaneously, with full P&L accountabilityProven ability to translate customer or commercial requirements into practical, scalable operational solutionsExperience operating in complex, regulated environments with strong understanding of safety and compliance expectationsTrack record of leading through growth, change, or acquisition-driven environmentsStrong leadership presence with the ability to influence both field operations and executive stakeholdersComfortable operating in a high-travel role with regular on-site engagement across multiple locationsCompensation for this position includes a competitive base salary commensurate with experience, bonus incentives, full medical and dental benefits, 401(k), and paid vacation.
