Corp to Corp not accepted.Engagement Type: Contract, task order basedFinal Interview: In personPosition SummaryDhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring for a Software Developer and DevOps Engineer on behalf of its client. This is an onsite, task order based consulting role supporting a large public sector organization across multiple departments.The engineer builds, integrates, and supports the applications and automation arising from assigned task orders, covering application development, API and systems integration, deployment pipelines, and automation that reduces manual effort for client staff. Placement is contingent upon contract award.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, enhance, and maintain applications and integrations supporting client operational needsBuild and support APIs and interfaces connecting departmental systems, including ERP and enterprise asset management platformsDesign and maintain CI and CD pipelines and infrastructure as code for client environmentsAutomate manual processes identified during business process analysis engagementsSupport application deployment, configuration management, monitoring, and release coordinationApply secure development practices and support remediation of findings from security reviewsProduce technical documentation covering code, configurations, deployment procedures, and handover instructionsProvide Tier 3 support for applications developed or supported under the contractCoordinate with data engineering staff on integration points and data flowsMaintain availability for client consultation between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday, respond to inquiries within one business day, and respond to urgent requests within four hoursRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum five years of professional software development experienceProficiency in at least one major language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript and TypeScriptDemonstrated experience designing and consuming REST APIs and building system integrationsHands on experience with CI and CD tooling and with version control in GitExperience deploying and operating workloads in AWS or AzureWorking knowledge of containerization and orchestration such as Docker and KubernetesAbility to report onsite in Frederick, Maryland on the schedule required by the assigned task orderPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting a government client at the federal, state, county, or municipal levelExperience with ERP or enterprise asset management system integrationFamiliarity with secure coding standards and application security testingExperience with infrastructure as code tools such as TerraformCurrently residing in the Frederick, Maryland area or the surrounding regionCertificationsOne or more of the following is preferred.
