ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * General vehicle maintenance on assigned vehicle * Complete all log books and other paperwork * Perform daily vehicle inspections *Coordinate between Transportation and Shipping departments to move trailers as needed * Report vehicle maintenance and necessities to appropriate management * Load and unload customer and/or vehicles as required * Maintains and cleans vehicle and assigned work area * Material handling * Conform to all DOT safety regulations *Perform local deliveries, as needed * Other duties as assigned by supervisor What you'll need: Possess a current and valid Class A CDL. Safe driving record with no more than one accident or moving violation within the previous 12 months from date of hire. 12+ months of verifiable driving experience (defined as interstate operation of a Class A combination vehicle/tractor trailer) within the previous three years. At least 21 years of age at the time of hire. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with electronic, on-board recordkeeping systems.
