Cloud Engineer

This company focuses on enhancing digital infrastructure and delivering cutting-edge cloud platforms.The Role Design, implement, and support hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google) with a strong focus on networking, compute, storage, security, scalability, and high availability Integrate DevOps practices, supporting CI/CD pipelines, application deployment, API integration, containers, and configuration management, especially in .NET environments Provide technical oversight for cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations (e.g., NIST, IRS Pub 1075) Collaborate with vendors, architects, developers, and security teams on design discussions, architecture reviews, and configuration validation Develop technical knowledge to assume long-term ownership and support of cloud solutions post-project closeout Ensure security, compliance, privacy, reliability, and operational support are key considerations in all cloud implementationsWhat You'll Need Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google) Strong understanding of networking, compute, storage, security, scalability, and high availability principles Experience with DevOps integration, CI/CD pipelines, application deployment, and containerization Proficiency in programming, scripting, configuration, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues Ability to optimize performance and cost, and work collaboratively with diverse teams Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is highly preferredWhat's On Offer Opportunity to work on critical hybrid cloud projects with a major client Chance to apply expertise in a challenging and compliant-driven environment Involvement in vendor design discussions and strategic cloud architecture Potential for long-term ownership and support of innovative solutionsApply via Haystack today!
