Charge RoboticsCharge Robotics is a Series A startup building robots that build solar farms.Demand for new solar projects is booming (1 ? 5 of all the solar that exists in the US was installed last year!), but today's construction companies can't keep up due to limited labor resources.We thought this was insane, so we started working on robots to directly address this bottleneck and speed up the world's transition to renewables.Charge is a fast-moving company, which means constant opportunities for learning and growth. You'll have a large impact on the direction of our company, and will be compensated accordingly.If you are excited to work on interesting problems with direct climate impact, you're going to fit right in at Charge Robotics.What You'll Be Working OnOperating our state-of-the-art robotic factory and fleet of delivery vehicles on jobsites across the United StatesAssigning tasks to other team members to ensure materials are loaded correctly and efficiently into the factoryWorking with the software team to improve operator user experience and efficiencyMonitoring the factory for faults, documenting issues, and working through resolutions with the team back at HQCommunicating updates with the site superintendent on a regular basisAs a Robotics System Operator at Charge Robotics, you'll be working with our engineering and operations teams to deploy a first-of-its-kind robotic solar installation system that will install gigawatts of clean power generation.YouAre available for full-time travel (a per diem stipend will be provided to cover housing and food)Are proficient working with computersHave a positive attitude and like working on a teamWill follow safety procedures + reinforce a culture of safetyAre able to lift 50lbs if necessaryIt'd Also Be Nice If YouAre familiar with programming and/or the command lineHave experience working with industrial automation equipment or roboticsHave experience working on construction sitesEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
