Water Systems Lead – Semiconductor Manufacturing FacilityWe are seeking an experienced Water Systems Lead to oversee the design, operation, and optimization of critical water infrastructure supporting a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable delivery of ultra-pure water (UPW), wastewater treatment, and sustainable water management systems in a highly regulated, precision-driven environment.The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership capability, and a track record of maintaining high-availability utility systems in industrial or advanced manufacturing settings.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the operation and maintenance of plant water systems, including ultra-pure water (UPW), wastewater treatment, and reclaim systemsEnsure continuous, reliable supply of high-quality water to support semiconductor manufacturing processesOversee system performance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and process disruptionsManage and mentor a team of technicians, operators, and/or engineersCollaborate with facilities, process engineering, and EHS teams to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulationsDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, sustainability, and water reuseSupport system upgrades, expansions, and capital projects from design through commissioningMonitor KPIs and implement data-driven strategies to improve system reliability and performanceMaintain compliance with all local, state, and federal water and environmental regulationsQualifications3+ years of experience with industrial water systems (semiconductor, pharmaceuticals, or similar high-purity environments strongly preferred)Hands-on experience with ultra-pure water (UPW) systems and/or advanced wastewater treatment processesProven leadership experience managing teams in a 24/7 operational environmentStrong understanding of water chemistry, filtration, membrane systems, and treatment technologiesExperience with SCADA/BMS systems and data monitoring toolsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in semiconductor or microelectronics manufacturingKnowledge of sustainability practices and water reuse strategiesFamiliarity with regulatory frameworks (EPA, local environmental agencies, etc.)What You’ll BringA proactive, ownership-driven mindsetAbility to operate in a fast-paced, high-stakes manufacturing environmentCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementCompensation & Benefits$30 per hourWeekly pay (direct deposit)Medical, dental, vision insurancePaid sick time (40 hours)Short-term & long-term disabilityOpportunity for direct hire after 6 monthsLong-term project stability and career growthApply Herehttps://jobs.cgsglobal.com/
