*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing team as a Stalker. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and precision of coated and finished products through meticulous surface preparation, coating application, and finishing processes. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship in a fast-paced production environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and materials while adhering to strict safety protocols and quality standards. *Responsibilities* * Prepare construction painting surfaces through thorough cleaning, sanding, and surface treatment to ensure optimal coating adhesion. * Operate various hand tools, power tools, and spray guns—including airless paint sprayers and conventional spray equipment—to apply coatings accurately on different materials. * Handle materials safely using forklifts and other material handling equipment, following all safety protocols and PPE requirements. * Interpret production documents such as work orders, technical drawings, and quality standards to execute tasks precisely. * Apply powder coating techniques with attention to detail, ensuring uniform coverage and finish quality. * Conduct visual color comparisons and use precision measuring instruments to verify coating consistency and adherence to specifications. * Maintain a clean work area by following proper disposal procedures for waste materials and ensuring compliance with environmental safety standards. *Skills* * Proficiency in operating forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and spray guns used in industrial painting and coating applications. * Strong understanding of quality standards in production environments, including visual inspection techniques and color matching. * Ability to interpret technical documents such as production instructions, safety protocols, and material specifications. * Mechanical knowledge related to machining, assembly, surface preparation, and coating processes. * Knowledge of powder coating methods, industrial painting techniques, and construction surface preparation. * Familiarity with respiratory protection equipment like respirators and adherence to PPE protocols for safety during spraying or handling hazardous materials. * Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to coating thickness, mixing ratios, or material quantities.
