MeadePosting Date 05/14/2026Security Clearance Required - TS/SCI with PolygraphRemote Type N/ATime Type Full timeDescription & RequirementsElder Research Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of MANTECH international Corporation seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer.Elder Research has multiple positions available for talented software engineers with experience in any of the following:Development, deployment, and troubleshooting of containerized backend services, RESTful APIs, and web applications.Data pipeline development in support of ML operations and Exploratory Data Analysis tasks.High performance computing including Operations and Maintenance activities and data compliance.Infrastructure as Code and Infrastructure as a Service including design, interface implementation, and automation.Minimum QualificationsEducation and Experience:Masters + 3 years of relevant experienceBachelors + 5 years of relevant experienceHS Grad + 7 years of relevant experienceJob Specifications/RequirementsExperience with backend development using Python or JavaExperience with SQLExperience with KubernetesExperience with HTMLExperience with Apache NiFiExperience with GitLab or CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.Experience with container and container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and ConfluencePreferred QualificationsExperience with testing frameworks or automation toolsExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including AnsibleExperience with REST APIsExperience with software frameworks for big data such as Splunk and Elastic StackAbility to complete a task quickly and properly, with very little supervision.Experience working in a client facing position, with good communication skills.Clearance RequirementsCurrent TS/SCI w/ PolygraphMust be a US CitizenThe projected compensation range for this position is $144,768 - $187,450. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
