The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React, Kafka, cloud technologies, and OCP/OpenShift.This role combines hands-on software development with technical leadership. You will design and develop scalable applications, solve complex engineering challenges, contribute to technology standards, and collaborate with senior technical teams. Experience with Generative AI, LLM integrations, or agentic AI is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, debug, and document enterprise-scale software applications.Build and enhance applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React, Kafka, and cloud technologies.Participate in complex technology initiatives with broad business and technical impact.Analyze technical challenges and develop scalable solutions aligned with enterprise technology standards.Contribute to engineering best practices, standards, and modern technology initiatives.Collaborate with architects, senior engineers, technical experts, and other stakeholders.Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to other developers.Support deployment and development of applications in cloud/OCP environments.Requirements5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent combination of education, training, military, consulting, or professional experience.5–7+ years of hands-on Java development preferred.Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.Hands-on experience developing Microservices.Experience with React and modern frontend technologies.Experience with Kafka or event-driven architecture.Experience working in cloud environments.Experience with OCP/OpenShift or similar cloud/container platforms.Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills.Ability to work on complex enterprise applications and collaborate with senior technical teams.Nice-to-Have Skills & ExperienceGenerative AI / GenAI developmentLLM integrationsAgentic AI / AI agent creationExperience building AI-powered enterprise applications.Familiarity with modern cloud-native development practices.Experience establishing engineering standards or mentoring other developers.Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is a hands-on Senior Java Engineer with strong backend development expertise and experience building enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, React, and cloud/OCP technologies. Candidates who can demonstrate actual production experience with GenAI, LLMs, or AI agents will have an additional advantage.
