EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by a Nassau County–based client seeking a Controller to oversee all accounting and financial reporting for the company's manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate financials, effective cost controls, and compliance with GAAP.ResponsibilitiesLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial reportingOversee cost accounting, standard costing, inventory, and variance analysisMaintain internal controls and ensure regulatory and tax complianceManage audits and work with external partnersLead and develop the accounting teamSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningPartner with operations to improve margins and manufacturing efficiencyDrive process improvements and effective ERP utilizationQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance7+ years of accounting experience, including manufacturing/cost accountingStrong GAAP knowledge and inventory accounting experiencePrior team leadership experiencePreferredCPA or CMAERP experienceAdvanced Excel skillsAs a recruitment and workforce management service, we are committed to promoting equal employment opportunity in all recruitment processes.
