Due to continued growth across several mission-critical programs, we're looking for an experienced Technical Requirements Systems Engineer to join a highly collaborative engineering team delivering secure, enterprise-scale platforms.This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of business and technology—translating customer needs into technical solutions that enable complex software systems to evolve and scale. You'll work closely with Product Owners, Systems Engineers and Software Developers to ensure projects are delivered successfully from concept through deployment.If you enjoy solving complex problems, collaborating with technical teams and influencing the direction of modern software platforms, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingGather, analyse and document functional and technical requirements.Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand business workflows and translate them into technical solutions.Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and engineering teams.Support sprint planning, execution, demonstrations and functional testing.Collaborate with Software Engineers and Systems Engineers throughout the development lifecycle.Produce clear technical documentation and maintain project artefacts.Facilitate Agile delivery using Jira and Confluence.Present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering teams.What We're Looking ForActive TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph Experience gathering and documenting functional and technical software requirements.Previous experience working alongside Agile software engineering teams.Understanding of Java and/or JavaScript software development.Experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices.Cloud platform knowledge, ideally AWS.Jira & Confluence experience.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to bridge technical and business teams effectively.Nice to HaveExperience supporting AI or Machine Learning initiatives.Understanding of modern cloud-native software architecture.Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering teams.Passion for emerging technologies and continuous improvement.Why Join?Work on meaningful, mission-critical Government & Defense programs.Join a collaborative, highly technical engineering environment.Influence the design and delivery of enterprise-scale software platforms.Exposure to modern cloud technologies and AI-driven solutions.Long-term project stability.Excellent opportunities for career growth and professional development.Why Tektora?At Tektora, we partner with innovative technology companies that are solving some of today's most complex engineering challenges.
