This position will be accountable for administration, configuration, installation, provisioning, monitoring of Linux and Windows systems and applications in a hybrid datacenter environment. Job duties include troubleshooting to ensure availability, capacity and performance of infrastructure systems and applications. Perform assigned duties with general direction from team leads and/or managers. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for On-Premise Datacenter maintenance, patching servers, backups and tape rotations, maintain documentation, server inventory and Datacenter and server supplies and partsDeploy highly available, scalable and secure on-prem and cloud infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft Azure GOV and AWS GOV. Demonstrated ability to operate in an Agile environment Develop orchestration, provisioning, and resiliency automation to support continuous delivery and continuous integration process Work closely with the engineering and architecture teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment, orchestration and provisioning of infrastructure.Analyze and resolve configuration issues in development, test, and production environmentsInstall and configure Windows server operating systems and software on VMware and Physical serversSupport NetApp infrastructureBe a team player and coordinate with the larger Systems and Infrastructure team on projects and initiativesGenerate hardware and software reports from SCCM to determine deficienciesBe part of on-call support and available 24/7 to help troubleshoot issues that could arise in a Datacenter environmentMaybe required to perform other duties as instructed by team leads and/or managersCoordinate with vendors for technical support and upgrades.Acting as a product, application or service owner in a DevSecOps CultureRequired Knowledge, Abilities and Skills essential to Job Functions: Agile MethodologyStrong PowerShell skillsStrong knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022Knowledge of Linux RHEL 8, 9 and 10VMWare virtual server management Data Center management System/application monitoring (Orion) Basic troubleshooting skillsBasic knowledge of DNS, DHCP and Active DirectoryBasic understanding of TCP/IP and IP addressingAbility to write documentationAbility to work with and coordinate vendorsAbility to troubleshoot issues and quickly determine escalation pointsKnowledge of other cloud environments like AWS/ Google Cloud is a plusHigh Performance Computing experience is a plusNetApp storage experiencePossess both progressive technology experience and project planning acumen - ensuring on-time completion of tasks and projects in a team setting.   Is nimble, forward thinking, and thoughtful.  At home in a hybrid role of “roll up the sleeves” with technology teams  Demonstrates the ability to inspire team effort, communicate IT organization goals, and build consistent process.   Required Experience: 7-10 years of experience supporting computer systems with at least 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS.5 years of experience with various networking protocols and their use, particularly TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and WINS.Certifications in one or more of the following is a great plus:  AWS  Azure  ITIL  Agile  Excellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical audience.  Experience with Agile & DevOps methodologies, tools and measurement practices.  Ability to multi-task and operate with a strong sense of urgency.  Can-do attitude to problem solving, open-ness to evaluate and accept new ideas.
