Have a profound impact, grow, learn, and thrive as part of our team.OverviewThe Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing intervention in the areas of articulation, language, and fluency. They will assess student needs, provide high-quality speech and language therapy, and collaborate with both school personnel and families to provide services to students. Every child deserves to reach their full potential and we're looking to hire an exceptional clinician who will play an essential role in fueling student success.ResponsibilitiesDesigns and implements intervention programs, which remediate deficit speech/language skills of identified studentsWorks with school personnel and parents to design and implement the student's intervention plan, individual service plan, or individual student plan most appropriate to address the student's needOffers consultation and collaboration with school staff and parents in support of student's speech language goalsActs as a resource to parents, school personnel and other caregivers in the area of speech/language developmentAdministers appropriate screening and/or diagnostic tests to determine child's speech/language competency, if requestedInterprets diagnostic tests, identifies strengths and weaknesses in areas of speech/language skills, and generates reports providing feedback to school personnel and parentsIs knowledgeable concerning all policies and procedures as established for these servicesCompletes required paperwork in an accurate and timely mannerLight lifting, walking, and/or climbing stairs may be requiredSESI.AT.1QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning requiredMaster's Degree from an ASHA accredited university is requiredValid Speech-Language Pathologist license/credential is requiredExperience working with students in a school setting is preferredPosted Salary RangeUSD $100,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr.Physical Requirements* Ability to run short distances and move swiftly in response to student needs, including bending, kneeling, and crouching.* Ability to lift and assist students with mobility challenges, often requiring the handling of up to 50 pounds or more.* Skill in managing fine motor tasks, such as helping students with writing, manipulating small objects, or using adaptive devices.* Ability to operate a computer or tablet for up to 8 hours daily.* Capacity to remain calm and composed during physically and emotional demanding situations, ensuring student safety and well-beingReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
