A respected and growing litigation firm is seeking a Mid-Level Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team representing and defending public entities, including municipalities, government agencies, school districts, and public officials.This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation associate who wants meaningful courtroom experience, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to handle sophisticated civil matters with real community impact.Position OverviewThe attorney will manage a diverse civil litigation caseload focused on public entity defense. Matters may include constitutional claims, civil rights litigation, tort liability, employment disputes, premises liability, and general governmental liability matters.Attorneys in this role will take ownership of cases while working closely with experienced litigators and public-sector clients.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle all phases of civil litigation from inception through resolutionDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, and dispositive motionsConduct depositions, witness preparation, and legal researchAppear in court for hearings, conferences, and trialsProvide legal analysis and strategic counseling to public entity clientsCollaborate with partners and litigation teams on case strategyQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolActive bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction3–7 years of civil litigation experienceExperience representing public entities, municipalities, or government agencies strongly preferredBackground in civil rights defense, employment defense, or general liability litigation is a plusStrong writing, analytical, and advocacy skillsAbility to independently manage cases while working in a team environmentCompensation:Full-timeSalary range: $165,000-$200,000 annually + performance bonuses(Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.)Comprehensive benefits package, subject to eligibility requirements, including:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid holidays annually
