Their work is driven by a mission to create meaningful, gospel-centered impact.Position: Church Engagement DirectorReports to: Development DirectorLocation: Hebron, IN (ECM US Office), remote, or hybridSchedule: ~20 hours/week (Mon–Thurs 830a-1p CT; occasional Sundays/evenings)Compensation: Support-raising role (minimum 50% of wages raised by staff member)Position SummaryThe Church Engagement Director builds and strengthens partnerships between ECM and churches by cultivating new partnerships, deepening existing ones, and connecting church to meaningful ministry opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesChurch EngagementIdentify and connect with new churchesBuild and maintain relationships with existing church partnersPresent ECM’s mission and partnership opportunitiesRecruit and support church liaisons/primary contactsGrant ManagementResearch and pursue grant opportunitiesWrite, submit, and track grant proposals and reportsMaintain grant calendar and supporting documentationMission Trip CoordinationPlan and coordinate mission trips (logistics, communication, budgets)Support participant fundraising and preparationManage pre- and post-trip communication and reportingTeam & Development SupportCollaborate on fundraising strategy and eventsMaintain accurate church and donor recordsParticipate in team meetings and organizational activitiesQualificationsCommitted Christian aligned with ECM’s mission, values, and Statement of FaithStrong relationship-building and communication skillsExperience in fundraising or nonprofit development preferredHighly organized, self-motivated, and dependableComfortable with basic office and database toolsTravel RequirementsDomestic travel at least twice monthly (primarily Midwest, occasional out-of-state)Occasional international travel (Africa) as neededResume and Cover Letter may be submitted to developmentdirector@ecmafrica.org.
