Senior Sourcing ManagerLocations: U.S. (Hybrid – Jersey City, NJ / Tampa, FL / Dallas, TX) or Hyderabad, India Engagement Type: Contract (U.S.) / Contract-to-Hire (India) Interview Process: Two roundsRole OverviewThe Senior Sourcing Manager is responsible for driving strategic sourcing, procurement excellence, and supplier management initiatives across the organization. This role provides leadership over sourcing strategy, cost optimization, supplier relationships, and governance processes while partnering closely with business stakeholders, Legal, Finance, and Procurement teams.The successful candidate will bring deep experience in strategic sourcing, contract lifecycle management, and vendor management, with the ability to lead teams, manage complex supplier portfolios, and deliver measurable savings and operational improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sourcing & Procurement LeadershipLead the end-to-end Source-to-Contract (S2C) process across assigned categoriesDrive strategic sourcing initiatives that support business growth, transformation, and cost‑savings objectivesDevelop and execute negotiation strategies that deliver sustainable value and strong supplier relationshipsIdentify opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, and economies of scaleOperational Excellence & GovernanceReview existing processes and stakeholder feedback to identify and implement best practices and process improvementsEstablish and maintain strategic sourcing governance frameworks, working closely with Legal and Quality Assurance teams to create and manage standardized sourcing templatesEnsure accurate procurement budgeting, financial controls, and reporting across sourcing categoriesTrack, validate, and report on savings initiatives and sourcing performance metricsSupplier, Contract & Category ManagementOversee supplier and contract category management, including performance tracking and relationship managementManage Statements of Work (SOWs) and vendor engagements using enterprise procurement and VMS platforms (e.g., SAP Fieldglass, Oracle Procurement)Support supplier diversity initiatives and long-term supplier optimization strategiesProvide expertise across third‑party management, including sourcing, procurement, contract management, spend management, and accounts payableStakeholder Engagement & CollaborationBuild strong, trusted relationships with internal business partners and functional leadersAct as a strategic advisor to category leads and business stakeholders on sourcing and procurement decisionsCommunicate sourcing strategies, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and executive stakeholdersSupport business units in uncovering additional value opportunities and continuous improvement initiativesLeadership & People DevelopmentLead, mentor, and motivate a high‑performing sourcing and procurement teamFoster a collaborative, inclusive, and high‑engagement team environmentProvide hands‑on coaching and support to team members to build sourcing and negotiation capabilitiesEnsure delivery of high‑quality work within defined timelines and budget constraintsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor managementStrong experience managing multiple stakeholders across business and functional teamsProven ability to lead sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and supplier management programsExcellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑facing skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience sourcing Professional Services (e.g., HR, Legal, Consulting)Experience with e-Sourcing and procurement platforms, such as:Oracle iProcurementSAP Fieldglass or other Vendor Management Systems (VMS)Exposure to enterprise procurement and ERP systemsExperience working in large, complex, or regulated environments
