Hydraulic Technician

Job Overview Local Salem Manufacturing Company, with its own product line, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Assembly Technician; with primary duties being assembly and troubleshooting of the hydraulics systems. The individual we are looking for should have 3 or more years of manufacturing experience with a history of employment stability. This is a permanent long term full-time day shift position with full benefits. Personal attention to detail and the ability to ensure that all finished products meet quality standards prior to shipping. Applicant must be able to work in a team environment with minimum direct supervision and capable of performing tasks that will include routine assembly of fabricated mechanical and hydraulic components into major assemblies. As a Hydraulic Technician, you will be responsible for assembly, troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems in various equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude. Duties -Assembly, inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems on propriety machinery and equipment. - Must be completely familiar with fittings, hoses, valving and nomenclature. - Willing to do additional mechanical duties beyond just hydraulics. - Utilize hand tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble hydraulic components Requirements - Experience in hydraulic system repair and maintenance - Proficiency in equipment repair and vehicle maintenance - Knowledge of all hydraulic nomenclature; including hose and fittings. - Competency in using hand tools for mechanical work and willing to perform additional duties beyond normal hydraulic systems.
