Extreme Control Engineering values technical excellence, clear communication, and a commitment to delivering dependable results for clients in diverse sectors.Role Description This full-time remote Electrical Engineer role is responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving electrical systems and power distribution networks for client projects. Day-to-day tasks include developing electrical schematics, selecting components, performing load calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, prepare technical documentation, and support proposals. The role involves reviewing existing electrical installations, identifying opportunities for efficiency and safety improvements, and providing technical guidance during implementation. The engineer will also assist in troubleshooting system issues, preparing reports, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals.Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design for systems, schematics, and component selection.Candidates should possess strong skills in Power Distribution, including load analysis and protection coordination.Candidates should possess strong skills in Power Systems, including system modeling, reliability, and safety considerations.Proficiency with relevant design and analysis software (e.g., CAD tools, power system modeling software).Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE).Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field; advanced degree or professional licensure (e.g., PE) is an advantage.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
