NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!*We Provide the Necessary Training!Highland Care Center is seeking a Pulmonary Care Nurse to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team!Pulmonary Care Nurse Responsibilities:Plan, implement and assess treatment plans for patients with respiratory illnessesConduct patient interviews/assessmentsMonitor patients' progress towards goalsCarry out diagnostic testing proceduresAssist and collaborate with other healthcare professionals (i.e. physicians and respiratory therapists)Manage and administer medicationsEducate patients and their families on medications as well as various breathing treatmentsAdminister different treatments including Oxygen Therapy, Manual CPT, Breathing Exercises, etc.Advise patients on various lifestyle changes that can alleviate symptomsEducate patients on how to prevent respiratory illnessesAssessment and management of ventilator and tracheostomy patientsPulmonary Care Nurse Qualifications:Must have graduated from an accredited nursing programMust be a licensed RNOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
