Server/Cashier
Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, handle transactions accurately, and assist with food preparation and service. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take customer orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
Handle cash transactions with precision and manage cash handling duties responsibly
Upsell menu items and suggestive selling to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Prepare simple food items as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a clean and organized work area
Buss tables, clear dishes, and assist with general sanitation duties to ensure a welcoming environment
Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and restaurant policies to answer customer inquiries effectively
Follow all food safety protocols including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Assist in kitchen or café operations as required, supporting overall team efforts
Requirements
Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred
Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work well under pressure
Ability to multitask efficiently in a quick service & fast food restaurant environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is a plus
Demonstrated time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly
Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends or holidays if needed
