I am seeking an experienced and inspiring General Manager to lead a luxury boutique wellness resort focused on holistic wellbeing, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and healthy cuisine.This leader will oversee all aspects of resort operations while creating an elevated guest experience centered around relaxation, personal renewal, and authentic hospitality.The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for wellness, exceptional guest service standards, and the ability to cultivate a warm, service-oriented culture for both guests and team members.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all day-to-day resort operations including rooms, food & beverage, spa/wellness programming, housekeeping, engineering, and guest servicesFoster a culture of wellness, mindfulness, and personalized luxury hospitality throughout the propertyEnsure exceptional guest satisfaction through attentive service, operational excellence, and memorable wellness experiencesPartner with culinary and wellness teams to deliver innovative healthy dining concepts, yoga programming, meditation offerings, and retreat experiencesRecruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing team focused on genuine hospitality and guest engagementManage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and expense controls while achieving revenue goalsMaintain Forbes-level or luxury service standards across all departmentsBuild relationships with guests, retreat leaders, local partners, and the surrounding communityOversee property maintenance, cleanliness, ambiance, and operational efficiency to ensure a serene and welcoming environmentCollaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive occupancy, retreats, wellness events, and brand awarenessEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and resort operating standardsQualificationsMinimum 5–7 years of progressive luxury hospitality leadership experience, preferably as a General Manager, Resort Manager, or Director of OperationsExperience within wellness hospitality, boutique resorts, luxury spas, or retreat environments strongly preferredStrong understanding of yoga, meditation, holistic wellness, and healthy lifestyle programmingProven ability to lead and inspire diverse teams with a servant leadership approachExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsStrong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, and profitabilityPassion for creating exceptional guest experiences and personalized serviceAbility to thrive in a hands-on, boutique resort environmentPreferred AttributesCalm, approachable, and emotionally intelligent leadership stylePassion for wellness, sustainability, and mindful livingStrong attention to detail and luxury presentation standardsAbility to create meaningful connections with guests and staff alike
