The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles. Key responsibilities for the VP of Finance include overseeing the organization's financial health, leading the financial planning and analysis process, and ensuring compliance with all federal and internal financial obligations. This role also involves directing and overseeing all aspects of accounting, finance, treasury, tax, and financial reporting, as well as creating and managing financial strategic plans and budgets.The ideal VP of Finance will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA being a plus and a CPA or CMA being preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, is required. The candidate should have strong audit experience, be adept at identifying and analyzing financial risks, and have a proven track record in developing and implementing internal controls. Experience with ERP and financial systems, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills, are also essential for this position.
