Title: Adjunct Faculty - Radiography Salary Range: $800 per credit hour Contract Term Length: Not Applicable Standard Hours: Varies Work Location: On-Site FLSA Status: Exempt College: Bluegrass Community & Technical College Campus Location: Bluegrass C&TC - Leestown Campus Department: Radiography Job Summary Provide clinical instruction for first- and second-year radiography students in a hospital and/or clinical setting. Job Duties: Working with the clinical coordinator, the clinical instructor must ensure that the specific hospital guidelines are followed and requirements for student clinical instruction are met prior to each clinical rotation. Providing students an example of how specific imaging exams are to be performed according to hospital protocol. Assigning students daily workloads that will provide opportunities to obtain the necessary clinical experience and completion of check-offs found in Trajecsys, the software used to track student lab/clinical performance as they progress through the program. Being available to aid students when difficulties and/or questions arise in providing care. Providing students feedback on their performance in a timely manner. Providing students an enriched learning environment. Verifying and documenting student activities using Trajecsys: Evaluation/grading of student progress. Communicate any student/clinical issues with Program or Clinical Coordinator Maintaining confidentiality with student records and performance. Minimum Qualifications: Current AART license 2-years experience in clinical area Approval to provide clinical instruction at host institution Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Radiography
