DescriptionKalos Services is hiring a Purchasing Systems & Materials Lead to build and maintain a more consistent, reliable purchasing process across all trade departments.The role focuses on simplifying how materials are selected, priced, and purchased so field teams and purchasing agents can work more efficiently and with fewer errors. The goal is to ensure the right materials are used, the right vendors are selected, pricing is accurate, and the process is repeatable.The position will serve as the central owner of purchasing systems, material catalog structure, vendor alignment, and purchasing standards. You will help establish Kojo as the company’s system of record for purchasing and material selection.This is not a traditional procurement manager role. The position does not directly manage purchasing staff but instead drives alignment, structure, and process across departments.Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 salary based on experienceLocation: On-Site (Clermont, FL)ResponsibilitiesBuild, document, and improve purchasing processes to ensure consistency across departmentsOrganize and maintain material catalogs across HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and other tradesEstablish and maintain standards for vendor usage and pricing accuracySupport implementation and ongoing use of Kojo as the purchasing system of recordPartner with field teams to ensure materials are practical, accessible, and aligned with job needsWork cross-functionally with service, projects, construction, warehouse, accounting, and operations teamsProvide guidance and structure to purchasing agents without direct supervisionIdentify gaps in current workflows and implement practical solutionsEnsure purchasing processes are followed and continuously improved RequirementsExperience in one or more of the following: trades, warehouse operations, purchasing support, estimating, operations coordination, vendor/distribution, or process improvementStrong attention to detail and ability to organize complex or incomplete informationAbility to build and implement structured processes across multiple teamsComfortable working across departments and with different personalitiesStrong follow-through and accountabilityPractical, solutions-oriented mindset BenefitsAt Kalos, we believe in supporting our employees both at work and in life.
