Job DescriptionNetwork EngineerFull-Time | Onsite – Quantico, VA➡️ Anticipated relocation to Huntsville, AL in December 2027We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support complex LAN/WAN environments within a mission-focused operational setting. This role is responsible for the planning, design, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure supporting critical operations.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco-based networking environments, routing protocols, VPN technologies, and network security devices in secure enterprise environments.Analyze, design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN network environmentsSupport routers, switches, gateways, firewalls, encryption devices, and communication systemsTroubleshoot interoperability and connectivity issues across multiple platforms and systemsConfigure systems based on operational and user requirementsPerform testing, validation, documentation, and technical analysisProvide network administration, technical support, and troubleshooting assistanceSupport network layout and infrastructure design effortsAssist with network security administration and system optimizationDevelop and maintain SOPs and technical documentationMay serve as a technical lead or team lead depending on assignmentRequired Education, Experience, & SkillsStrong knowledge of LAN/WAN communications and network infrastructureExperience with Cisco routers, Ethernet switches, bridges, gateways, and firewallsExperience supporting encryption technologies such as TACLANE devicesStrong understanding of routing protocols including:RIPEIGRPBGPOSPFExperience with:MPLSVPLSVPN technologiesTraffic engineeringStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to work onsite in Quantico, VABachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field6+ years of relevant network engineering experiencePreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsAnalyze, design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN network environmentsSupport routers, switches, gateways, firewalls, encryption devices, and communication systemsTroubleshoot interoperability and connectivity issues across multiple platforms and systemsConfigure systems based on operational and user requirementsPerform testing, validation, documentation, and technical analysisProvide network administration, technical support, and troubleshooting assistanceSupport network layout and infrastructure design effortsAssist with network security administration and system optimizationDevelop and maintain SOPs and technical documentationMay serve as a technical lead or team lead depending on assignmentPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
